Get short-term work experience in the UK with the temporary workers visa
The Tier 5 Temporary Workers or Government Authorised Exchange category visa are for workers coming to the UK through an approved government authorised exchange scheme. This visa allows the worker to do work experience, training, academic research or a fellowship, and to take part in an Overseas Government Language Programme.
You can apply under this category Tier 5 – Government Authorised Exchange if you wish to come to the United Kingdom through approved schemes to share best practice, experience and knowledge.
When applying, you will need to provide a certificate of sponsorship and evidence of maintenance.
The maximum length of stay is 24 months. However, this can vary depending on the planned length of stay.
