Adam Hussain
Lawyer / Consultant
Adam Hussain is the Managing Director of Aldwych Legal.
Alongside his work at Aldwych, Adam is undertaking doctoral research in Legal Science at Royal Holloway, University of London. His research examines legal services regulation, the Legal Services Act 2007, the regulatory perimeter between reserved and unreserved legal activities, consumer and SME-facing legal services and, legal technology.
Adam’s international work includes Qatar and the wider Gulf legal market. Also as a Legal Consultant working in the Gulf, he has supported commercial, investment, technology and business-formation matters involving high-value private clients, investor-facing legal strategy. He is also a member of the British Chamber of Commerce in Qatar.
Adam has also been active in public engagement and legal-awareness. He has spoken at Events in London and Qatar on English contract rights, commercial law and the legal risks that arise when businesses expand, invest and contract overseas. He has engaged with themes of AI, legal technology, entrepreneurship, regulation and international investment, and was invited to an Oxford University Saïd Business School entrepreneurship event involving founders, investors, lawyers, accountants and business owners.
Adam also has a practical social involvement with the Law and Human Rights Clinic in Cape Town, South Africa, where he supported domestic-violence survivors and juvenile offenders who would not otherwise receive assistance, delivered legal-awareness and counselling workshops, spoke in schools and helped coordinate educational activities for more than 3,500 children.
