Updated Home Office COVID-19 guidance for temporary residents in the UK

The Home Office has published an updated guidance for temporary residents whose visa expires between 24^th January 2020 and 31^st July 2020.

Previously, for those who had their visas extended until 31^st May 2020 due to travel restrictions or self-isolation, the Home Office will automatically extend their leave until 31^st July 2020.

Additionally, the Home Office will allow applicants who are looking to make an application in the UK for a long-term visa to switch in the UK, if your leave expires between 24^th January 2020 and 31^st July 2020. This includes situations where they would normally be required to submit from their home country.
