Home Office

The Home Office has published an updated guidance for temporary residents whose visa expires between 24th January 2020 and 31st July 2020.

Previously, for those who had their visas extended until 31st May 2020 due to travel restrictions or self-isolation, the Home Office will automatically extend their leave until 31st July 2020.

Additionally, the Home Office will allow applicants who are looking to make an application in the UK for a long-term visa to switch in the UK, if your leave expires between 24th January 2020 and 31st July 2020. This includes situations where they would normally be required to submit from their home country.
