Children and Adopted Children visas are applicable for children who are below 18 years old and are wishing to join their parents who are British or settled in the UK.
Children under 18 can come to the United Kingdom to join their parents if they are British or settled and present in the United Kingdom.
In some cases, children can join one of their parents in the United Kingdom if the requirements are met. Children must show that they are not independent for example that they have not been married or have not formed a family of their own.
Parents settled and present in the United Kingdom must provide adequate accommodation and be able to maintain their children.
Adopted children have to meet the same requirements plus others which are specific to the adoption.
