Find Work Now: A workshop on enhancing your job search skills in the UK
Struggling to look for a job during Covid? Do not panic, we are here to help.
We understand that Covid has hit the UK economy hard, companies strive to operate or dismiss staff to cut costs, thus the UK job market is becoming more competitive. Graduates, job switchers, those whose work permit is soon to expire, and those who would like to secure the right to enter/remain in the UK are all fighting for the limited roles available in the market.
So how should you start looking for a new job? How can you maximise your chances of getting a new job? What would be the best strategy? This workshop will be able to provide you with some insight.
Ros Toynbee is the Director and Lead Coach of The Career Coach (www.thecareercoach.co.uk) in London. She works with individuals to clarify career direction and achieve their career goals.
On Thursday 14th January 2021, Pam Barar, Director and Senior Solicitor of Barar & Associates, an immigration law firm based in London, together with her colleague Angel Wan, will be hosting a webinar with Ros at 1 pm (UK time).
Ros will be giving a presentation and taking questions on matters such as:
- Sectors that are hiring
- How you should start looking for a new job
- How you can stand out from other applicants: what to say in your CV and LinkedIn profile
The session will run for 30 to 40 minutes. To secure your place please register and the Zoom meeting details will be sent to you. This call will be recorded. You can of course also ask them live on the call.
